Rob grew up very close to Glasbury, buying The River Wye Activity Centre in early 2019 as the base for his multiple business operations that he has grown over the past 15 years. With his expertise of the outdoor industry, extensive local knowledge and his contagious enthusiasm, he will ensure any event is a huge success.

Claire came to Ultimate after a highly successful career in consulting. Co-owner of the River Wye Activity Centre, Claire works hard behind the scene as finance and HR manager.
ANDY PHILLIPS
Centre Manger
Andy is our brilliant Centre Manager. You’ll either meet him as he shows you the site, runs through a safety brief before you venture out on a canoeing trip on the river, or more often than not he’ll be up a ladder fixing something! Andy makes sure the centre is running as smoothly as it possibly can for any groups we have in.
FIONA
Website Manager
Fiona is in charge of all things IT and technical throughout the company. She also manages the annual NCS multi-activity residential summer program at the River Wye Activity Centre.
RACHEL TROTT
Office Manager
Our lovely office manager Rachel looks after the administration side of things, and may sometimes be the first point of contact for clients wanting to enquire about a stay at the centre. She may book you in for your camping stay or canoe trip, and helps to organise our many events.

Head Chef
If you stay at the River Wye Activity Centre, whether that’s in our bunkhouse, the main house or camping, Damo is our fantastic head chef! From cooked breakfasts to BBQs, Damo is able to rustle up whatever any group requires.
JEN PHILLIPS
Cafe Manager
You’ll meet Jen in our café, The Paddlers Rest, and is usually busy serving up cappuccinos, teas and the odd ice cream or two! She’ll also sometimes check you in as you arrive for canoeing or camping.
