The River Wye Activity Centre (formerly Glasbury House Outdoor Education Centre) has been a residential education centre for over 50 years. The centre has a total capacity to sleep over 90 people indoors, between the main house and our bunkhouse as well as spacious grounds for camping too. GLASBURY HOUSE
Glasbury House is an ideal location for large group events and residential trips. Right on the banks of the river, it’s ideally placed to offer watersports such as canoeing and SUP as well as all of our on-site activities.
SLEEPS UP TO 100
At the River Wye Activity Centre we have capacity to sleep up to 70 in bunk beds. Attached to the centre we also have a bunkhouse with further capacity of 30. On top of that we have grounds for camping.
SPACIOUS GROUNDS
Six acres of grounds give big groups plenty of space to take part in outdoor activities such as archery, mountain biking, team building and low ropes on site. There also is a large classroom inside the house.
LOCATION
We are situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Glasbury-on-Wye. We are about hour from Cardiff, two hours from Birmingham and around 30 minutes to Hereford.
