ESCAPE ROOM – COMING SOON!

Are you quick thinking? A team player? You will need to be!

Come and take part in our brand new marine-themed escape game which requires a group of players to work together to find hidden clues and solve puzzles to escape the sinking ship before your time runs out. There are a lot of problems to solve, codes to crack and hints to find, and you will need each of your team mates to be working with you at the same time to be sucessful!

HALF DAY: GLASBURY TO HAY

From Glasbury to Hay on Wye the trip is 5 miles or approximately 2 hours paddling. We also offer many other routes on the River Wye. Glasbury is a picturesque town with easy access to the river Wye, making it a great place to start this paddle downstream. It is popular with all groups, no matter what ability level they are at!

We can offer you and your team an opportunity to work together to find clues and solve puzzles as the clock ticks down.

The River Wye Activity Centre is the perfect place to come and have fun while strengthening bonds within groups as well as being the ideal location to build new relationships and teams. As well as the escape room, don’t forget that we can provide many other complementary corporate team building activities and leadership tasks onsite, along with canoe, kayak or SUP hire or mountain biking.

Our escape room can be seriously entertaining putting you and your work colleagues in most out of the ordinary situations. We see quiet individuals turn into bold, natural leaders and strong-minded characters fast realising that they don’t have a clue!

FULL DAY: GLASBURY TO WHITNEY

If you decide to paddle further than just Glasbury to Hay-on-Wye, the second section of river between Hay-on-Wye and Whitney-on-Wye (a further 5.5 miles) is just as stunning and as you leave the area, it doesn’t take long before you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere again.

On arriving into Whitney-on-Wye, you will pass under the toll bridge just half a mile from the finish point at The Boat Inn pub, near where the Pound B&B / Bunkhouse & Campsite is based.

Glasbury-on-Wye is also a great point to start from for full day trips to Whitney-on-Wye, two day trips to Preston on Wye or extended trips to Hereford, Ross-on-Wye, Symonds Yat, Monmouth and Chepstow. You are welcome to book into our bunkhouse or our campsite if you are planning a multi-day getaway.
